Dog Walking and Pet Care Prices:

Prior to accepting your dog, I undertake an initial consultation with you and your dog – free of charge. This meeting provides you with all the information you need to know about The Happy Hound. And in addition, it offers me the opportunity to get know your dog’s character and temperament and acquire any other relevant information and medical history. This enables me to give the best care possible to your doggie away from home. Consent to walking off lead will be discussed and whether or not your dog is a confident swimmer or simply likes to paddle.

I take great pride in promoting myself as a responsible, loving, caring animal lover; and I like to give the dogs a relaxed homely environment were possible. For this very reason I do not have a van with crates stacked one on top of the other. Instead I have an estate care which is split into two sections using dog guards and the boot has a full dog guard door to allow safe exit from the car. I find this safe transporting of the doggies suits my pack well allowing them to relax and interact with other dogs but also providing a similar environment to which they are used to travelling in.

In the summer months a lot of dogs just love to swim, and Toby and Teddy are always the first ones in! In addition to fun filled walks with your permission dogs will be given the opportunity to swim in both lakes and safe inlets in the river were there is no current.

Group Dog Walk: 1-2hours (excluding pick up and drop off)

£15 for 1 dog
£30 for 2 dogs same household

Pet Visits/feeding:

Usually for older dogs or young pups to check up on them during the day and let them out for a toilet break, in addition to feeding.

Or if your dog has been treated for an injury/illness and requires medication or just some company during the day this is also an option.

£10 per visit minimum of 15 minutes
£15 per visit minimum of 30 minutes

Services are available both weekdays and weekends, during the day and in the evening depending on availability. Bank & Public Holidays are charged at double the regular price.
